Non-linear to linear text writing.

Today, we learnt how to change non-linear text to linear text. It is an interpretation of information presented graphically.

Tips how to do interpretation...
1) spend 5 minutes reading the graph/charts...
2)makes sure you understand axes...
3)makes sure you follow lines on graph...
4)focus on the key information...
5)if two graph - compare...
6)think about the time period - tenses...
7)vary your vocabulary...
8)organize information clearly...
9)write neatly....for sure

Non-linear writing's formula
                                      TITLE
first paragraph : Over View + Control Idea
next                 :   give 2 - 3 key features
conclusion       : Prediction + Proposal


Firstly, extract the TITLE from the question and underline it.
Over view - what does the stimuli present??
answer : a bar graph, diagram, pie chart, etc...
Control idea - What is the general trend of all the stimuli combined??
answer : increasing, decreasing, constant, or fluctuating...
For the second, third and fourth paragraph, you need to identify the key  features which are the most outstanding ideas from the stimuli...
NOTES: DO NOT MAKE ANY EXTERNAL ASSUMPTIONS
For the closing, it consist of minimum two sentences...prediction and proposal
Predict what future trend....Propose a recommendation....
