I have learnt a lot of things in BEL 260 classes throughout this semester...My English has improved much..I have more confident to speak in front of people...Thanks so much to Miss Zuraidah for teaching me..
The method that has been used by Miss Zu really works and helps us to understand more..She did group activities, showing videos, force us to act (just kidding) and many more...
I will never forget this class and Miss Zu...Hopefully, it will stay eternally in my heart..It is really hard to say good bye for something that you love...But, everything must come to an end...Again..thanks to Miss Zu...

February just left us and now we must let go of BEL260 class as this is the last class for this semester..Miss Zu returned back our quiz..My group scored 13/20..After that, Miss Zu gave us foods.. We enjoy this final class..This means the end for this blog...Maybe I will continue in the next semester...GOOD BYE n WISH ME LUCK IN FINAL EXAM..LOVE YA'LL..

Today, we learnt to identify the purpose for author's to write and the tone used in their writing...
- entertain-The author tells a story that describes something or someone in an interesting way.
- persuade- The author tries to change our opinion on a topic by appealing to our emotions.
- instruct- The author will explain or teach something in the story that the reader doesn’t know. The author provides knowledge to the reader.
- describe-Authors often describe to support other purposes in writing. They use it to create a character, set a mood or envision a scene.
What is tone?
Tone-writer’s use of words and writing styles to demonstrate his or her stand towards the issue

- Brainstorm ideas on the subject
- Identify the main topics
- Use the topics as heading for organising your notes
- Decides which side you are on. Make sure you choose the side that you can fully support
- Plan and write an outline for your essay. Noting down the information you will include in each paragraph.

How to draw a conclusion??
- First, you have to read the paragraph and identify the topic sentence and main idea.
- Then, look for supporting details as evidence that you can use to reach a conclusion (E.g of evidences are: facts, statistics, reasons, definitions and descriptions.
- After that, combine your prior knowledge with the supporting details to draw conclusions.
Ask these questions:
- What is the writer trying to prove?
- What is the consequences of these events?
- What is going to happen because of these actions?
- What can I conclude from the paragraph?
